Hogia delivers live passenger information to SL Metro passengers

With help from Hogia, Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) – the authority responsible for public transport in Stockholm in Sweden – will shortly have the capability to provide the Stockholm Metro’s 330,000 daily passengers with live and consistent journey information.

Hogia’s IT solution delivers new possibilities for SL to control the information distributed to customers and passengers. SL will benefit from the ability to rapidly publish targeted disruption messages – very important when traffic on a Metro line must be immediately and unexpectedly suspended.

The content information is the same through all communication channels; for example the web, platform signs and travel planners.

“We are delighted that Metro operators will get a valuable tool to provide passengers with faster and more reliable information. Today they work in different systems for different lines. Hogia’s system will reduce manual handling to a minimum and also reduce the risk of operators sending incorrect or inconsistent information”, says Bertil Persson, Senior Vice President at SL's Traffic Operations.
